Executables running outside the game directory are fine though. Dauntless apparently has an anti-cheat mechanism that just forces the game to exit immediately if -any- non-game executable is running under its game directory.
Subnautica free silent running update update#
I hope my bases are ok I'm not sure how I feel about the Cyclops being vulnerable now though. I'll update the Wiki with Dauntless specific instructions to cover this case. This was gathered for the base built on the Grand Reef (the shots are further up in this post).Īll of the stuff in my Cyclops is one of the reasons why I took it down with me when I went exploring the Lost River. I haven't played for about a month, so it seems like now is the perfect time to load it back up again. As it turns out, the best fuel sources for a bioreactor in Subnautica are.
At one point I had four glass lockers that were completely full of only Titanium. Silent Running is a toggle, and keeps draining power EVEN if the engine is off. I have noticed that the game kinda starts dying once you start to fill these lockers up. Oh, and a flowerbed with two lantern fruit trees and a Chinese potato, along with a vending machine. The lower walkway is filled with about four large glass lockers containing resources, 3 small wall lockers, a fabricator next to the ladder, and then up on the main deck I have a modification station, four more large glass lockers for various items (one of them is completely full of batteries and power cells from trips to the Aurora, another full of cured food and bottles of water), a battery charger next to the fabrication, a powercell charger in the main engine room above the door, and then finally my trip wall locker that I use to store essential items for a trip out. Yep, my Cyclops is my mobile command centre.
